Passing on a Heritage of Faith
2026 Mongolian Chuseok Retreat in Korea

From September 24 to 26, 2026, the 2026 Mongolian Chuseok Retreat in Korea was held at Myeongseong Retreat Center near Chiaksan Mountain in Wonju, Gangwon Province.
A total of 320 participants from 22 Mongolian churches across Korea gathered for worship and fellowship. Since 2025, HisShow, together with HisShow Mongolian, has supported the retreat with a special focus on ministry for the next generation.
This year, HisShow planned and led dedicated children’s and youth worship programs. The children’s ministry was led by HisShow Mongolian representative Khishigjargal, while the youth ministry was led by Minister Seongmin Han of HisShow.
“Waiting for Jesus” with the Children
The children’s program brought together 45 children and 10 teachers.
HisShow’s 2025 Advent program, “Waiting for Jesus,” was translated into Mongolian and adapted for the retreat.
Through five themed stations — Hope, Faith, Peace, Joy, and Love — the children learned about Jesus through worship and a variety of interactive activities.
Each station helped the children discover more about who Jesus is and gave them an opportunity to experience and understand His love in a meaningful way.

A “Heritage of Faith” for the Youth
The youth program was held under the theme “Heritage of Faith.”
A total of 41 youth and 13 teachers participated in three worship services, themed activity rooms, team-building sessions, and other programs designed to help students discover the heritage of faith they are called to hold on to throughout their lives.
Minister Seongmin Han led the worship gatherings using selected material from HisShow Hi-Teens, a youth curriculum he authored. Through the three worship services, students were encouraged to encounter God personally and to embrace their faith through worship, prayer, and the Word.
Young adults from Sanbon Church, where Minister Han serves, also joined the retreat and dedicated themselves to caring for and connecting with the youth. Their commitment became an important catalyst in helping many students open their hearts and engage more deeply in worship.
One student shared:
“I had been struggling a lot because I kept comparing myself with others. I was deeply encouraged by the message that we are created as God’s children, so we do not need to compare ourselves with others or see ourselves as less valuable.”
Through the three worship gatherings, the students had meaningful opportunities to encounter God, worship and pray together, and reflect on the faith they want to carry forward in their lives.
Passing Faith to the Next Generation
The Mongolian Chuseok Retreat in Korea is becoming more than a gathering for adults. It is also becoming an important place of ministry for Mongolian children and youth who are growing up in Korea.
At HisShow, our mission goes beyond creating Christian content. We desire to bring that content into churches and ministry settings where children and youth can experience the Gospel and grow in their faith.
Across Korea and Mongolia, and beyond differences of language and culture, HisShow will continue working to pass on a heritage of faith to the next generation.
